Ages 8+ (all levels)
This 2 day weekend workshop will give students the opportunity to work on audition skills, cold reading, improvisation, breaking down scripts and building characters with fun television and film scripts. Focus will be on getting the callback and booking the job. Students will have the opportunity to work with other actors and have scenes evaluated all in a low stress, nurturing environment. This workshop may be taken again and again.
Students will need to bring a sack lunch on both days.

Dates: March 3-4, 2012

Times: Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Fee: $225 if paid by April 1, $240 after deadline.

Together with husband, David Kaufman, Lisa Picotte has been teaching and coaching young actors since 2001. During this fun-filled workshop, the students will learn to sharpen their audition skills, understand direction and adjustments, make strong choices, and relax and have confidence in their audition. Ms. Picotte will also work with the students on creating a natural, believable character that is uniquely their own with scenes chosen from television and film scripts. Starting at 2:00, parents are invited for a Q & A session with Ms. Picotte.
Students will need to bring a sack lunch.
